How To Create Billable Packages With Patient Juan

There may be instances where you would want to offer packages to your patients. Fortunately, Patient Juan lets you do this easily.

Step 1: Sign In to Patient Juan

Sign in to your Patient Juan™ account and select any clinic you have.

Step 2: Open Your Account Settings

Click On Patient Juan™’s top bar, click your name or profile picture at the upper right section of the screen. This will open a dropdown of options for you. Click the “Settings” button.

Step 3: Open the Packages Settings

On the side-navigation bar of the Settings window, click the “Billing/POS”  menu. Afterward, select “Packages” from the shown options. This will show you a list of your existing Billable Items.

Step 4: Create a New Package

Click the “New Package” button at the upper right portion of the Packages window. This action will open the Add Package Window.

Step 5: Fill-up Required Fields

Input the Package Name and Price of your package on the fields provided in the Add Package window.

Step 6: Add Included Items

In the Add Package window, add inclusions to your package by clicking the “Add Item” button.

Step 7: Select Items to Add

In the Select Items window, select the items you wish to add to your package. You can do this by ticking the checkbox adjacent to the name of the item. After choosing all items you wish to add, click the “Done” button at the bottom right side of the window.

For Included Items, you can adjust their quantity by clicking the plus (+) or minus (-) button adjacent to their name in the Add Package Window.

Step 8: Add HMO Coverage

For Packages with HMO Coverages, add a coverage by clicking the “HMO Coverage” button.

In the Add HMO Coverage window, select an HMO provider from the dropdown provided. You can add other HMOs through your account settings. Next, input your billable item’s copay and coverage. 

The copay will be the amount that your patient will be billed for the package if they are covered by your chosen HMO provider. The coverage, on the other hand, is the amount to be reimbursed by the HMO.

Once you complete the HMO coverage, click the “Add” button. 

Note: Each Package can be covered by more than one HMO provider.

Step 9: Save Your New Package

Finally, click the “Add Package” button at the bottom right corner of the Add Package window.
