What is Patient Juan?
Patient Juan is an Electronic Medical Records System tailor-fitted to make consultations go faster. It also provides doctors to get in touch with their patients and provide them with better services.
Is Patient Juan free?
Yes! All functionalities of Patient Juan are free. Some features, however, are limited to a certain degree to prevent abuse of the system.
How can patient set an appointment with me?
With Patient Juan, your patients can set appointments with your either manually or through Patient Juan’s companion patient app.
For patients who do not have the app, you can enter their personal information through the dashboard or the Patients Module.
If your patients have the patient app, they simply need to search for you through our doctor database, set an appointment and wait for your approval. Once you approve the appointment, the patient information, date and time of appointment, and chief complaint will be processed by the system automatically.
What does Streamlined Consultation mean?
Streamlined consultation means that Patient Juan will guide you in every step of your consultation. From your History Taking to the Plan making, you would no longer have to worry about missing an important step.
Who has access to my information?
All information provided by doctors and patients to Patient Juan can be accessed only by them. The Patient Juan developers team implements the best practices in compliance with the Health Privacy Code.
How does Patient Juan take care of my data?
Patient Juan uses server-side encryption provided by our database providers. We also implement SSL (Security Socket Layer) in our website to prevent any data hijacking of in transit communications. The team behind Patient Juan also diligently verifies every doctor account made with the program to keep out malicious users.
Can newly licensed doctors use Patient Juan?
Yes! We understand that not all doctors can setup their own clinic. This issue is common among newly licensed doctors. So, to address this, users can now create virtual clinics with Patient Juan.
Virtual Clinics have all the functionalities provided to physical clinics. The only difference is the absence of a clinic address. Virtual clinics can also be found in our doctor directory. So, you do not have to worry about missing out on anything.
Can my patients pay me through Patient Juan?
Yes! Patient Juan has partnered with Paymongo to provide doctors and patients a secure way to transfer payments. Patient Juan also automatically updates the status of your billings, letting you monitor your patient billings more accurately.
